Welcome to Week 34 – H Week: Pearls' Coastal Capers! Featuring: Household, Higgins/Harris/Hopkins, High, Hart Farm, Haigis HOUSEHOLD A seagull stands guard on a ledge above a refuse bin, making sure all passers-by observe the sign, “No Household Trash”. HIGGINS/HARRIS/HOPKINS I found a jackpot of H-words at Windmill Village in Brewster, home of Higgins Farm Windmill, the Harris-Black House, and the Hopkins Blacksmith Shop. All established late 1700s to mid 1800s. HIGH Seaweed markings left on the beach by the last high tide (also known as the high water line) at Ellis Landing this past May. HART FARM Standing on a bridge at Hart Farm Wetlands, I've angled the lens downward to capture a dove (bottom left) as he studies the marine life in the brackish water below. HAIGIS Looks like it's time to grab the umbrella! Springtime at Haigis Beach. Thanks for joining me for Pearls' Coastal Capers - “H week”!

I'm so behind in getting blogs read, but it was well worth doing it. Lovely photos, as usual, but I really enjoyed the peacefulness of that third one. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
