Look I've said one for the simple reason that I have had blogs which do disappear quite quickly. I think the world wide time difference may hav something to do with it also. BUT, I guess, within reason people could post two in quick succession but I would expect that would not be donbe every day though. I tend to blog sporadically, when I have something to write about, as what I write is of my daily life. I don't think I would ever have the need to post more than one at a time.  MAKE EACH DAY GREAT..........LIVE, LOVE AND LAUGH OFTEN.

I see we have a brand new clogger with four entries so far today. On top of that we have one that posts in three different handles every day and not always with just one for each. Some blogs posted today by members will have had precious little time on the front page and dont anyone try to tell me that that is not unfair - it is disgracefully and disgustingly unfair and extremely thoughtless on the part of those that multi-post every day to satisfy their own self importance. I might do another poll tomorrow about people's attitudes to the endless stream of political cut and pastes that I believe serve no purpose for most people here.

Hi Lothie: I am just glad when people write blogs each day so there is something to read when I come here. I don't look at the main blog page though. I just click on 'view all' and read whichever blogs I care to read, and skip the rest. Some people write a lot of blogs each day, but I know its probably because they want to annoy us, or maybe they just want a lot of attention.

Not to long ago I wrote a blog on this very subject. You probably won't, but I wish you would somehow give us the name of the blogger who uses many handles. I know sometimes, there are legitimate reasons for coming in under different handles, but most people who do, do not have sinister agendas and tell us they are using a different handle because, "......," and everyone understands. I dislike these types more than I dislike the blogger hogs. Thank you for writing this blog.

Lothie, I agree with you and yes it has become a nuisance .... like the 'one liner' for instance? I often think that some people must be awfully bored if they find the need to blog all day long about everything little thing that happens in their lives!! Yes, many come here to find friends, learn about them etc but don't they realize that their blogs are viewed by not only SFF members but by everyone on the internet??

If someone really is interested in reading your blogs they can find them easily.No need to feel slighted over blogs.Those photo blogs are very clogging also but some are great to see and very good. It is what it is, just deal with it. ~ Never say never.You may be proven a liar. ~

Indeed true. I voted one blog a day. However, one of my blogs showed up three times through no doing of my own! Later, I made a royal mess of trying to post a Navy vessel but finally succeeded and, as you advised, I took down the initial entry. I did not know how to transfer posters' responses so they are lost on that blog. My ignorance caused a bit of a fiasco on the board and I do apologize. As for the content of posts, if each ohe has one post, we can skirt those we do not wish to read. Lothie, my guess is that this won't happen. The immaturity will play itself out among those with just too much time on their hands and little to offer the group, the blog blemish on the landscape. I personally do not object to informative copy and paste news/science articles as I gain different perspectives through the reading. My choice to read or pass over, of course. However, after spending considerable time to develop a blog, it is disheartening to have it fade quickly into back pages with small readership due to blog clog. I have noticed that nearly every blog posted by the above Ace...is what was on the USA morning show Good Morning America...which I generally watch. What bugs me is that he just repeats what was shown..posting it for opinions. I thought blogs were for posting YOUR OWN thoughts about something...or perhaps seeking advice for a problem you are having..or telling us of some adventure you have had. In other words...YOUR OWN musings...not just a regurgitation of what we are already subjected to in the media. We all have a TV..why do we need a re-hash. Being a "gold" member does not...in my opinion ENTITLE him or any other to dominate the space provided to all to express themselves. If that were true..non paying members would not be allowed to post.

I didn't vote because I don't think it is that much of earth shattering importance.I think there should be more blogs because it gives more choices, other than seeing just the same old people with the old types of blogs over and over again.Maybe after about a month I can make a more realistic judgement but I don't think so. Ace, I suppose you also think that you are the only one that buys a newspaper or watches news programmes on television ? Do you really think people need you to re-post newspaper articles and the like for them to keep up to date with world affairs ? Everyone here has the right to post five or six blogs a day but those that have consideration for other people dont poost more than one aday. Let me put it this way, how would you like it if some other premium members began posting five or six times as many blogs as you do, thus keeping your regurgitated, stale drivel off the front page for all but very short periods. Would you regard that as being fair, King Clogger ?

Regardless of whether we are a high-paying or non-paying member, we can blog as many times a day as we want, blog whatever topic we want, and choose who we want to respond to our blogs, and even how we want them to respond ....... (by deleting those we don't like or agree with) BUT Consideration of others goes a long way around here, and when someone clogs up the blog page, and then expresses the fact that they don't really care how anyone feels about that ... they've crossed the line, and I won't bother with reading their blogs. p.s. I've never quite understood the purpose of blogs that are just cut and paste news items that we read in other places. A blog written about the topic in the bloggers own hand would be far more interesting.

You would think that minimal views and zero reply would give them a hint of persona non grata, yet they blindly post away because they are legends in their own mind. Very timely poll, loth. I wonder if it will make much of an impact on them? Probably not. For what it's worth, I voted for two concurrent front-page postings/blogger. I think that is reasonable. BTW loth, always appreciate your postings, especially your travel logs. Even though I may not always reply, they are much appreciated~! You put a lot of thought and time into your postings. I'll never forget what a writing teacher once said: You have to ask yourself, why would anyone want to read this? Even though blogdom allows for more flexibility - we're not writing an article or book that we hope to sell - I wish some people would think about this a bit. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I have noticed a diminished interest in blogdom. Frankly, I think many are so bored with the "fluff" in blogdom, especially the cut/pastes. Those who clog are the author of our collective misfortune.

Anyone who will use someone else's profile photo and claim authorship of another's photographic work is to be shunned. My two cents.   Love is a picture postcard life.

People shouldn't complain if your just going to patronize them by reading there blogs. I don't read there blogs, I read one persons for a while then quite for the reasons your discussing. I don't care how many blogs a person writes each day, but I think only the newest one should be on the first page as a courtesy to all bloggers. I have my favorite bloggers earmarked, and then I hit the view all button and scan through the blogs clear down to the ones I have previously read, even if that takes two pages to find. Remember, only you can make the choice of how YOUR song is written, and give that song a voice.

I think one a day is a fair number. As I mentioned, if you have to be on page one for someone to read or notice your blog, then your blogs must not be very interesting or you think you are a VIP. I know the people who are interesting and have great blogs, when and if I come to the blog page, I type in their handle and POOF, there they are and the blogs are all listed. What a grate way to find what YOU want.

All them idiots that fall to their knees worshiping agreeing with him are one track minded also. He obviously can't do much of anything other than copy and paste articles off the net, and comments quite a bit by using Wikipedia searching for answers. Still and unearth and others say he's doing great time consuming research by his copy and paste articles and comments. His only other comments are attack style comments because he was disagreed with. I do know from what I've read in his attacks on anyone that disagrees with him is that if I were typing the words he was counter attacking people the way he does I'd be removed for abuse within minutes. And guess who'd be doing the reporting, the little pretty skippy crew of malcontents. They'd all hurt themselves falling all the way through the house rushing to the phone to call S-F-F. Anyone that deletes peoples comments and then attacks them is nothing but clear cut chicken $hit. In my best Government trained voice, "That is all." ~ ~
