Do you remember the old Maude show when she talked about the way toilet rolls should be? She said the European was is over the top, the U.S. way is under the roll.

I always do it the "European" way.

 I recall some silly cartoon essay, complete with diagrams, posing as a "study" of whether over or under was a better deterrent to a cat determined to undo the roll.

 hard to believe anyone would change someone's TP preferences. Ad for the towels - I solve that issue myself by having both and towels and paper towels available. The role of paper towels looks tacky but .............
