Just wondering...
1. Will you vote for another term for president Obama?
2. Do you agree that he wants the USA to become a European style socialist republic, IE Germany, France, etc..and that if so its OK with you.
Please folks keep it civil, I would like your thoughts regardless..
Thanks very much!

1.The lack of decent paying jobs in the US....
2. Our debt is out of control and we are getting deeper in each and every day...Little fact for you..Lebrond James would have to keep his present pay scale and sent it all to the Treasury for 25,000 years just to pay one year of the current interest, (most goes to China)
3.Iran.. enough said, we allow them to go nuclear or not..
4.Greece is boiling over and are no longer an independent country regardless of their President as the European Banks have a clause for the bail out loans that cannot be altered regarding austerity programs..
5. Gasoline will soon be 5 dollars a gallon.( or more)..
And Obama is at 50% approval rating according to a recent pole.. (no typo)
DONT WORRY BE HAPPY...OMG...

Towards the end of a round of golf, Dave hit his ball into the woods and found it in a patch of pretty, yellow buttercups.
Trying to get his ball back in play, he ended up thrashing just about every buttercup in the patch. All of a sudden? POOF!!
In a flash and puff of smoke, a little old woman appeared.
She said, 'I'm Mother Nature! Do you know how long it took me to make those buttercups? Just for doing what you have done, you won't have any butter for your popcorn for the rest of your life... better still, you won't have any butter for your toast for the rest of your life.... As a matter of fact, you'll never have any butter for anything for the rest of your life!!!'
Then POOF!... she was gone!
After Dave recovered from the shock, he hollered for his friend, 'Fred, where are you?'
Fred yells back 'I'm over here in the pussy willows.'
Dave shouts back, 'DON'T SWING, Fred!' FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DON'T SWING!!!'

Ed and Nancy met while on a singles cruise and Ed fell head over heels for her. When they discovered they lived in the same city only a few miles apart Ed was ecstatic. He immediately started asking her out when they got home.
Within a couple of weeks, Ed had taken Nancy to dance clubs, restaurants, concerts, movies, and museums. Ed became convinced that Nancy was indeed his soul mate and true love. Every date seemed better than the last.
On the one-month anniversary of their first dinner on the cruise ship, Ed took Nancy to a fine restaurant. While having cocktails and waiting for their salad, Ed said, "I guess you can tell I'm very much in love with you. I'd like a little serious talk before our relationship continues to the next stage. So, before I get a box out of my jacket and ask you a life changing question, it's only fair to warn you, I'm a total golf nut. I play golf, I read about golf, I watch golf on TV. In short, I eat, sleep, and breathe golf. If that's going to be a problem for us, you'd better say so now!"
Nancy took a deep breath and responded, "Ed, that certainly won't be a problem. I love you as you are and I love golf too; but, since we're being totally honest with each other, you need to know that for the last five years I've been a hooker."
Ed said, "I bet it's because you're not keeping your wrists straight when you hit the ball."

written communication versus oral...Anyone reading my blogs will very quickly come to the conclusion that much improvement is required..I would rather speak about a topic than write about it just about anytime. In the chat room, I have a lot of fun flirting, which takes only a few words that are mostly ill framed and very often misspelled..(if only we had spell check there) LOL..and recently I tried to make a point that was totally taken wrong, probably because I failed to better explain my point..bummer and sorry my lady (you know who I'm talking to)
I believe it takes a real talent to write a well delivered blog or business / private personal letter and in just a few sentences get your point across to a person or wide audience..Smiling here as I look at a book I bought several years ago titled "How to write what you mean", obviously it did not sink in very well with me. Think I'll go look for "Writing for Dummies" and study it real hard..
So my point (long time saying) is my hat is off to you folks that write great blogs, you know who you are, and I envy your talent!!
Best to all in 2012 and beyond!!

Thomas Jefferson in a conversation

with James Madison over 200 years ago remarked, "What we have given the people is a Democratic country, ..if they can keep it".
That statement rings true with what we have given Iraq, an opportunity for a democratic country..
Besides the money (which can be replaced) there are 4579 American lives lost and many more wounded...
I am very wary that Iraq will ever be a real democracy, the different religious & clan groups ( Shia Islam, Iraqi Arabs Sunni, Kurds, Assyrians, Yazidis, Turkmen and more)... My god what will happen? Three different countries or one ruled by Iran?
Payback for the Sunni's will continue, more bombs and killings..
The middle East has a lot of moving parts and I'm wondering if they will just self destruct by themselves? However, I do believe that we are in for a penny, should be in for a pound, lets finish the job and destroy Iran's grip on its people, the same in Syria. Most of the issues would go away through out the region and Afghanistan..
2012 will be very interesting my friends!

Tuck it in or leave it out?

Shirts my friends, shirts !! LOL
At this time of the year, all of us guys to tend to add a few pounds. When we aren't wearing a sweater (which is worn outside our pants nearly all the time) do you wear your shirt tucked in or when possible let it hang freely?
How about you ladies? Do you wear your blouse or top garment tucked in or out?
Without a doubt, tucking it in shows a mid line that sometimes bulges out somewhat, for some more than others...
Have you ever wanted to go up to a stranger and say, " hey buddy, un- tuck that shirt for Gods sake, it looks like you are going to suffocate yourself"..
Me, well I like it tucked in. In is always better than out..LOL
Thanks!

Corporations are people?

Yes corporations are owned by people but should corporations be treated as individuals and allowed to contribute millions of dollars to political parties or more specifically to a certain candidate?
An independent US senator from VT is pushing a bill (or trying to) that would disallow corporations from in his words " take away big money from corporations buying influence and elections".
I agree with him and I think we also need to re-visit tax laws for corporations, no, Not saying to increase the tax rate (actually lower it to 10 - 12 % and then take away the loop holes...Our economy would grow like a wildfire, new investors, new products being made in the USA and jobs, jobs and jobs...
Why can't Washington get off their butts and do the job we are paying for them to do??
OK I'm done.. Thanks!!
