Older and Wiser - do they automatically go together?

People use the expression that they're older and wiser but are they really wiser?
Yes - with age comes wisdom
No - some people just get older but they definitely aren't wiser

So far it's unanimous that older and wiser DONT necessarily go together. I wonder where that saying began.

'I wonder where that saying began' - grumpy old men perhaps?

Of course they go together.

Just look at how much smarter we are than Young People Today.

I believe that's true of some of us but I'm not convinced that's always the case.

I'm not sure if that question was meant for me but my day just started. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time last night that ended in the wee hours of the morning. I slept in.

It's a mixed bag. In some things we grow wiser, and others we can still never learn or learn way too slow, 'cause it rattles our can. It's a totally mixed bag of varying percentages with each person from guru to villiage idiot.

Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.

Older and wiser? Wisdom has more in common with dishwater than age, I'm sorry to say!
Nice to see you, rosesarered. Thanks for your comment. I hope I get to learn more about you on the blogs.

I know I have grown wiser with age......but can still learn a few things thru and talking to the young ones......I always remember that saying "out of the mouth of babes" We can always learn.
