To all SFF folks..a particle C&P.. Makes a lot of sense Oct 5, 2010 9:26 pm

I'm sharing this message for everyone to see how
many actually read the blog versus attack the blogger. And its not political either LOL

Your response will be interesting.

Here goes:

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that
Person..

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need You have expressed.

They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with Guidance and support, To aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.

They may seem like a godsend and they are.

They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, This person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an End.

Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.

Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.

What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire
Fulfilled, their work is done.

The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has Come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons,

Things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional
Foundation..

Your job is to accept the lesson, Love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other Relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank all of SFF folks for being a part of my life, Whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

Some days are better than others for all of us, but most of all, tomorrow can be different depending on the reason, season or a life time decision..

Best to all, and I do mean ALL!!

Another Nightmare in the Health Care Bill

Did you know that if you sell your house after 2012 you will pay a 3.8 % sales tax on it?

That’s $3,800 on a $100,000 home etc.

When did this happen? It’s in the healthcare bill. Just thought you should know.

SALES TAX TO GO INTO EFFECT 2013 (Part of HC Bill)

REAL ESTATE SALES TAX
So, this is "change you can believe in"?

Under the new health care bill - did you know that all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax? The bulk of these new taxes don't kick in until 2013 (presumably after obama’s re-election). You can thank Nancy, Harry and Barack and your local Democrat Congressman for this one. If you sell your $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax. This bill is set to screw the retiring generation who often downsize their homes. Is this Hope & Change great or what? Does this stuff makes your November and 2012 votes more important?

Oh, you weren't aware this was in the obamacare bill? Guess what, you aren't alone. There are more than a few members of Congress that aren't aware of it either (result of clandestine midnight voting for huge bills they've never read). AND, there are other surprises lurking but I'll save those for another time.

Get out the Vote folks and let's kill this non health care bill.

More Taxes for the Rich..WTH??? (What the heck) Sep 23, 2010 3:04 pm

The Bush tax cuts MUST not expire...

Number one, earning more than 250K a year is a goal every person in the USA should have, those that do reach and exceed the goal should not be smacked down by paying more taxes... Where is the justice to work hard, and take business risk if there is no return,,Guess what, with higher taxes there is no incentive to do more...

Now if all liberals want to really help Obama pay down the debt, just send a check to the IRS..They will be more than glad to accept it...And you folks from other countries, go ahead send a money wire to the IRS...

Let our people grow and grow without additional tax burdens..

We are Taxed Enough Already

Vote Democrat if you honest God believe that Obama along with Nancy and Harry have been doing a good job with:

The economy, we have several trillion dollars of debt and its growing by millions daily.
.
National unemployment is almost 10% and higher in many cities, reaching 18% in some counties in CA and 20% in many Midwest cities. That means 14.9 million American workers can not find work. The number is probably a lot higher because many have just given up and live day by day begging by the free way off ramps and in shelters where they can find them.

The trillions of dollars spent on (stimulus) waste programs have created jobs. (Not government but private sector)

A couple earning 250K a year is rich…A person making 40K is middle class…

Government health care as passed by Nancy and Harry is a good thing for America (among other things the bill demands; if you don’t have insurance, you will be fined)

Everything wrong with our country is the fault of GWB and it’s not fixable for another X years.

Continue spending money we don’t have and raise taxes to help for it, (is a VAT coming soon?)

Not agreeing with Obama means you are a racist.

In a reasonable & civil fashion, tell me where I’m wrong, Thank you for reading!

Thomas Jefferson, My Hero Sep 3, 2010 3:10 pm

Just a few of his many quotes that have relevance for all times .....

When we get piled
upon one another in large cities, as in Europe,
we shall become as corrupt as Europe .

The democracy will cease to exist
when you take away from those
who are willing to work and give to those who would not.

It is incumbent on every
generation to pay its own debts as it goes.
A principle which if acted on would save
one-half the wars of the world.

I predict future happiness for
Americans if they can prevent the government
from wasting the labors of the people under the
pretense of taking care of them.

My reading of history convinces me
that most bad government results from too much
government.

No free man shall ever be debarred
the use of arms.

The strongest reason for the
people to retain the right to keep and bear arms
is, as a last resort, to protect themselves
against tyranny in government.

The tree of liberty must be
refreshed from time to time with the blood of
patriots and tyrants.

To compel a man to subsidize with
his taxes the propagation of ideas which he
disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.

And Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:
'I believe that
banking institutions are more dangerous to
our liberties than standing armies.
If the American people ever allow
private banks to control the issue of their
currency, first by inflation, then by
deflation, the banks and corporations that will
grow up around the banks will deprive the people
of all property - until their children
wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers
conquered.'

FUNERAL Aug 1, 2010 8:22 am

A man was leaving a convenience store with his morning coffee when he noticed a most unusual funeral procession approaching the nearby cemetery. A long black hearse was followed by a second long black hearse about 50 feet behind the first one. Behind the second hearse was a solitary man walking a dog on a leash. Behind him, a short distance back, were about 200 men walking single file.

The man couldn't stand the curiosity. He respectfully approached the man walking the dog and said, "I am so sorry for your loss, and this may be a bad time to disturb you, but I've never seen a funeral like this.

Whose funeral is it?"

"My wife's."

''What happened to her?"

The man replied, "My dog attacked and killed her."

He inquired further, "But who is in the second hearse?"

The man answered, "My mother-in-law. She was trying to help my wife when the dog turned on her."

A very poignant and touching moment of brotherhood and silence, passed between the two men...

"Can I borrow the dog?"

The man replied, "Get in line."
