/blog/MYSTERYWOMAN/?pid=f7780 I have been sitting here,thinking about the past year, and the highs and lows it has brought to myself and others here in SFF. I don't normally do things like writing this blog. I am a pretty private person, but decided that decided I would share some of my thoughts . It has been a year of highs, and low, and lots in between. At the beginning of the year, I had met someone, and began building a wonderful relationship, which held a lot of promise. In June, it ended abruptly, and I am still not sure why, but I do know I look back at it and am glad that eventhough it didn't work, it left me with some wonderful mamories. After that, I decided to come back to SFF, and catch up with some friends that I had made. I am very glad that I did. I have rekindled some past friendships, and made many more new ones. It struck me how amazing technology is. I have made friends from around the world, that I would not have otherwise known. People who have become very important to me. Some from half way around the world, and some who live fairly near to me. A few years ago, most of these friendships would not have been possible. I have learned about people's families. Their likes and dislikes. I have laughed with some of these people until my sides hurt, and I was crying so hard, I couldn't see the keys to type. I have also shared some tragedies with others,and have become close to them because of it. Shared their thoughts and problems, and given what support that I could. Many have done the same for me,and have become very dear friends to me. I have learned things that I never knew, and would probably never have taken the time to find out. Many of us have wathed the devisation of hurricaine Katrina on television. Seen the horrrors of it on CNN news. Well I have actually shared some of the trials and tribluations, of people who were affected by it. It is not a news story to me, it is something personal, that friends of mine have gone through. I have had insights that the news stories don't show. Mostly I just want to say what a wonderful time I have had getting to know everyone, and hours of laughter we have shared.
