As I am standing in my kitchen finishing up the last hors d'oeuvres for the wedding this afternoon, I decided that this girl needs some fun, so I am in if you folks will have me....
First: where the heck is the Dell's?
Second: When in October is it?
Third: I would like a roommate, I don't snore, I am easy to get along with (well, most of the time) and I will not hog the bathroom....(never mind boys, I am thinking girls)
I am not quite sure who is in charge of this event, please contact me with details.

After trying to do all the things that GentleBen suggested, I down loaded Picaso 3 followed all the precedes, and the result was as bad as expected. Now I am a fairly smart woman, my catering company is doing fine, the financial part is ok too...So why the heck can't I master the damn computer...Actually this not about anything else but what this site means to me...
This very evening out of nowhere this lovely member extent a helping hand, and when I looked at my blog, 1750wq2 had charged to what it was suppose look like..thank you friend 
When I have been upset, there has been many lovely members that has supported me, given me advise and sent in the right direction. I have had words of advise, that has supported me during some nasty storms (some of them created by yours truly) I have laughed with you and cried with you, and a couple of months ago had the luck to meet with some of you.
Here is my heart felt thanks to all of you....Karin

After been house bound for five days (no, nothing to do with house arrest  )my new computer bit the dust, my poor Lizzie had hardware problems, it seams that the tech support in Calcutta were not able to save her, or maybe it was that I could not understand what the heck they were saying, after being close to a nervous breakdown it was returned Cosco....Anyhow today was the first day I was able to take my daily walk, here I am sitting drinking my well deserved cup of coffee and this creature shows up  ...There is a convention of Starr Treck aficionados (can't remember name) at the convention center. Now this Jo-jo is going to take the ferry across from Coronado to SD down town, walk for about 2 miles in full gear...Now I know we are pretty crazy here in southern CA (last week we had the gay parade) but this one takes the cake...

I don't shock easily, but I am at loss for words...One of the members started writing to me, I Google his name, and lone and behold, he was a widower as he claimed, but his wife had passed away a week before he contacted me (I am sure other women too)I know that there is no etiquette as far as to how long you have to wait, but out of respect, should you not at least wait a month???

About a month ago my nephew got married, you might remember the blog I wrote about that occasion, all those super smart kids with no common sense...well here is gold nugget for you...two of the Dr.-Dr. decided they wanted to get married too, but this wedding was going to be up north in Mendocino (for you non CA'ns,
this is just a couple of miles from the Oregon border) so that is about a 1000 miles from SD...I was smart enough not to accept the invite, but my girlfriend, her husband my nephew and his new wife went...They thought it was by the coast but it was 150 miles inland and just as far from the airport, so they rented a car, as they were on their way they called the soon to be married couple if there was something they wanted for them to pick up since they were close to Costco, oh yes, ...would they get breakfast and lunch for 60!!!
Well, they were pretty perplexed, (me, I would have turned around) but being the good people they are they went shopping...They finally arrived at the destinations, it was an old boyscout camp, with some few cabins, and about 20 pitched tents, my girlfriend who is my age was not amused...So they start taking the groceries out of the car "where is the refrigerator?" "Oh, we don't have electricity"
I think this is what we used to call a "Hippie-Dippy" wedding,
Now here comes the call..."Auntie, do you have a recipe or do you know a way to make scrambled eggs for 60 how much milk do we add, does it matter that it has turned sour???"
And here I though my nephew was odd...We had dinner last evening, they are all still recuperating, I could see the smoke coming out of my girlfriend ears...and I...I am still laughing
