Retirement

How do you feel about retirement?
I retired from my full time day job on October 7. 2011. To tell you the truth: I LOVE IT! I did not think I would adapt well to retirement, but I am doing a pretty good job at it...so far 
I do some volunteer work several days a week. I help with our local food pantry one day a week, I tutor a 3rd grader on reading one day a week, I help at our local police dept, twice a week. The rest of the time is running around here and there and doing chores around the house. The freedom to do what I want and when I want is completely awesome. I know when the weather changes to warmer temps, I have many projects to do outside in the yard. That will keep me plenty busy for a few months...lol
I am now planning to leave Ohio in Dec, Jan and Feb each year for either FL or AZ. If I could sell this house, I would move to AZ permenately. I can take the warmer temps easier than these cold ones. The winter has not been so bad so far here in SW OH.

For the most part I enjoy the chat programs. Many are friendly, some...not so much Why do I go to chat? Not to find online sex and it seems that is what is on the mind of many, not all at least How do you all feel about that?
I enjoy making new friends and chatting with old friends. I like to kid and joke around, it is great to make others laugh or at least smile. Don't you think?
Would I hook up with a man if I had the chance....sure I would, that option is always open. I have no desire to date a married man or if he lives with a signifanct other, not my style.
Ok, this is the start of my first blog. Anyone up for it ?
