Foto Friday- Natural Framing

Well I went through my albums and came up with 10 photos!
1 We are going through a Cave at Disney World.
2 We are on a boat going through an Arch.
3 This is looking through a Window at a lake in Disney World.
4 This is Ray, dive buddy and my daughter, Janine. This is at Disney world with a very modernistic building above for the framing.
5 This is Tita who I visited in Mexico at the Cortez restaurant, the Arches are the framing.
6 These are pretty clouds framed by trees around the clouds.
7 This is looking through window at my back yard and boat in my Florida Room with my computer and yours truly holding lobsters!
8 This is a reflection of me taking picture of a cracked window, a mad redhead gal threw a coconut at it!
9 This looking down at some lobsters we caught, the cooler edge is the frame!
10 This was taken at my son house, of my great grandson peering at me behind a column, great granddaughter is to the right, the 2 columns are the framing.

Foto Friday-Lots of Blue

I probably chose too many blues but I do have a large collection so here they are!
1 Yellow blossems from a Golden Trumpet Tree (Tabeuia Tropical) that blooms in March and April, the yellow makes the blue really stand out!
2 This is me at Jazz Fest at Riverwalk with a very blue shirt!
3 4 5 and 6 is my very blue bathroom!
6 Is a plane leaving a vapor trail.
7 8 and 9 are pictures of Kite Boarding in the Blue Ocean!
I just learned yesterday on FB of Gentleben's passing and I am so sorry, may he rest in peace!

Foto Friday- Flowers

These pictures were taken last Feb so they are not spring flowers! At the end of Tarpon River before Andrews Ave, there is no bridge but 2 culverts, we have a neighbor that lives on an island with many flowers1
Sat they had 700 people from the Garden Tour to view their beautiful flowers and in appreciation for putting up with all the cars parked on our street, Sunday they invited the neighbors to also view the gardens! So here are some of the pictures I took! The last picture was painted by my mother many years ago and hangs in their beautiful home that was remodeled!

I went in random looking for examples in my many albums and here is the result!
1st picture is Lisa at the beach on the left side of the picture, 2nd pictures is of a bird showing its wing on the left side, taken across the river from my dock. 3d picture is of bird on the left side, 4th pictures is of my granddaughter Lauren and her husband Ryan at Miami Bch at the lower end of the picture and 5th picture is of them at the right lower part of the pictures.

Sorry I don't have many sunsets, I thought about getting up early and do a sunrise but overslept. This was recently seen at Ships and Boats! It was taken from the North Jettie and shows Port Everglades, FL.

I decided to go to the port and catch some ships there and the drawbridge went up and I got my first shot of a fast ferry that goes to Freeport in 2.5 hours! I took too many pictures, will explain later! The second picture is of the Seaborn Sojourn from Nassau in port. The third picture is of The Massdam from Rotterdam, as it was leaving port, I got this picture from a vacant home on water!The fourth picture is of the Zuiderdam in the turning basin as it was leaving the port, I got this from under the 17th Street bridge! Also from there I took the fifth picture of the Seaborn starting its engines. The sixth is the Zuiderdam, by the time I got to the beach it was already out to sea!The seventh picture is the pilot boat picking up the pilot. The 8th picture is of the Seaborn leaving the port at sunset. 9th is another one of Seaborn, 10th is an escort boat, notice the machine gun on the bow!, 11th is another one of Seaborn, I took these pictures from the jetty at the entrance to the port. 12th the pilot boat, 13th Seaborn and pilot boat, 14th another one,15th BoatUS, a towing service, I use to belong.16th A barge leaving port. 17th tugboat pushing barge, 18th Dive Boat on the way back after scubadiving! and finally 19th Sunset at Port Everglades!

The first picture I took in Jan 2005 when I decided to have my home painted blue, red shutters and yellow trim and the second picture I took Sep 2010, painted cream white, blue shutters and yellow trim, which version do you like better?

Odds and Ends of house restoration

My home was built way back in 1938 and they do not make Dade Pine board anymore so had to custom make them and had to replace many boards before painting my home!
First picture show where we took out a rotten board. Second picture shows a worker replacing the wood. Third picture shows another another missing board, fourth shows a lady worker painting the house cream white. Fifth picture show her tattoo and the last pictures shows my yoga teacher!
