It is a funny sight to see Stillwatertoo trying to learn how to make use of Ms Word. He thought of getting some computer classes while he is here. But I guessed he only needed basic things to know. Hahahahaha he will never indulge in complicated matters.
He knows now how to use Ms Word, save, drag, copy and paste. Hope he thinks I am a good teacher lol.
I showed him how I saved his posts in the blogs in my folder. His idea is to transfer the posts in the cds . He would like our great grandkids to see what we were doing in this time of our life. I told him I wanted to have it printed. He said it is very expensive to do it. He meant the printing. I told him “what is the price for a very nice souvenir of our time?”

Marrying An Old Man

Still woke me up saying something about the Blogs. I was feeling lazy to get up. My eyes woudn't like to open. I was online chatting with friends till 2 a.m and i knew i only had few hours sleep.
Then, suddenly, I remembered i have to get up. Fixed coffee and oatmeal for breakfast.Turned on the CD player and started playing the Lettermen CD. Still said he already had thought the cd will be played for 2 weeks till we watched "The Zombies" dinner concert on Feb.10.
I decided to start preparing the dish i will serve for lunch. Simplelady's son Herwin and company will be with us.Asianflower and her sister are coming too. And of course Car.
I have decided few days ago what dish i will prepare. It's my grandma's favorite dish too. It is called "Menudo" pork belly, pork liver, potatoes, carrots, bell pepper, raisin and green peas. I had marinated the pork belly last night in finely chopped onions, finely chopped tomatoes, soy sauce, pepper, bay leaf and local lemon. Remembering grandma who was a great cook, i told Stillwater i will cook it her style.
I was singing while the Lettermen cd was playing. Suddenly i remembered grandma told me when i was young "not to sing while i am cooking because my husband will be an old man". That was an old belief here in the Philippines.I told Still about it and we really had a loud laugh hahahahahahahaha.
While laughing Still said"You are marrying an old man because you are an old woman" hahahahahahahaha It was a great laugh!Hahahaha

Coming To The Philippines

I never thought of myself giving info for tourist. Hahahahaha. I am not a tourist guide nor do I own a travel agency or a stock holder of any hotels here in Manila.
Anyway, as requested, here are some information that might be of help to those dreaming to come to the Philippines to meet “Special Friends”.
1) Be sure to have a valid passport. Not ID lol
2) Travel Agency in your place will help you book your tickets.
3) Travel time depends where you are. Still had 26 hours travel time coming over.
4) You are entitled to stay for 21 days with no visa. But should you feel you like to stay longer, get your visa and extend for another 38 days. This is the 1st extension you can do. A week before the expiration of your extended stay, you can apply for another 1 month or 2 months. You can stay till a year if you want lol.
5) Visa extension is on a very minimal fee. Still paid $55.00 for the 38 days and $75.00 for the 2 months extension. Never use a fixer! There are lots of them at the Manila Airport. Never ever have your passport to have a Balik Bayan visa. Unless you are married to a Filipina.
6) Check your ATM cards if you can use it in the Philippines. Check with your bank. Check the expiration date of your ATM card. ( We witnessed someone who came over and his ATM got expired.) You can withdraw $300.00 a day with your card. But currency is in Philippine pesos.
7) Credit cards are being honored here.
 Hotels is from $38-$200.00 depending on your capacity to rent. You do not need to send for the reservation of your hotel. Pay as you check in..
9) Declare to your family with whom you will be meeting here. Get your “Special Friend’s” full name,address and contact numbers.
10) As much as possible don’t bring lots of US$. You can withdraw from your ATM remember?
11) Exchange rate is fluctuating.
12) We always have warm weather so just bring casual clothes. Except of course if you will be needing formal clothes .
13) When you reached the Manila International Airport, there are signs there that bears the first letter of your last name. ex. Johnson go under JKL. This will be easier for your Special Friend to see you.
14) Means of transportation is easy. We got lots of cars for hire, taxis, jeepneys, buses, Metro Rail Transit, Light Rail Transit or horse driven car .
15) Malls, supermarkets, pharmacy, hospitals are everywhere.

Traces...Memories

Traces, Memories, Just The Way You Look Tonight, I Only Have Eyes For You....do you remember these songs? I do? I was in High School.
I had the pleasure of having a post birthday dinner concert with Still by the Lettermen.
I knew an old classmate will do a front act and they were called Salute 3 Tenors. Composed of the Sec of Dept of Interior and Local Gov't. Chairman of the Metro Manila Development Authority and the former senator and governor of Manila and now the president of the prestigous Manila Hotel. Hahahah Still said he will never think of saving a budget to stay there hahaha..too expensive. This hotel is being noted for it's elegance and class A mark.
When we arrived in the venue, it was 30 minutes earlier. People flocking to the pavilion in their long gowns,coat and tie and Barong Tagalog. Hahahahaha i was wearing my embroidered blouse and skirt and Still wearing a beige button up shirt and gray pants.
I was looking at the people and smiled because these are all seniors and wanting to recall memory lane.
When we were told we can enter the room, we were given a seat number, it was table 51. There we had an american couple, a chinese couple, a filipino couple and us. Dinner was served.
When the show started and and the 3 Tenors started their performance, I recalled my high school days. Joey Lina, the President of Manila Hotel now used to be my mentor in most of my competitions in high school. He was the one who taught me how to win in extemporaneous public speaking . How to concentrate and how to be spontaneous with my topic. Hmmm those were the days.
After the 3 Tenors, The Lettermen went onstage and more my memories kept coming back. Singing my favorite songs, Just the way you look tonight, I only have eyes for you, Morning Girl, and a lot more.I felt i was a teeny booper that night.
When The Lettermen announced that we can go onstage and have our picture taken with them, i told Still i wanted to have one. So, he gave me the camera and i went my way to go near the stage.
Hahahahahaha of all people that i saw, when i have to fall in line, was Joey Lina. He stared at me and said my name. Hahahaha i said yes, it's me! He asked who is with me? I said my fiance but he is seated at the back.
Hahahaha the picture was my motive of going there. I asked Joey to take my picture with the Lettermen and asked him if he can do it for me. With no hesitation, he got the camera and told me to go and he will do it. All the people seated in their table looked at me but i did not mind it. Hahahahaha imagine the President of a 5 star hotel and former senator of the land will take my picture. That was awesome!
When i was onstage with the Lettermen, Joey kept waving at me to look at the camera. Hahahaha that was neat! The people were looking at us.
After the picture taking, I went back to get my camera from Joey. He introduced me to the people in their table and the Chairman of the Metro Manila Development Authority volunteered to take our picture.
Had few pleasantries with the people in their table and left.
While going back to our table, i can't stop smiling cause it completed my reminiscing of the past.
The concert ended and we were satisfied with the show. The proceeds of the concert will go to Rotary Club's project for the indigents and i am very happy we had a part in it.
Sumptuos dinner, Lettermen, meeting an old friend, cds, t-shirts made my post birthday celebration.
Memories pressed between the pages of my mind la la la la .
Nice recalling happy days isn't it?

From My Heart

My daughter Maricar came yesterday to dye my hair. I got L'Oreal dark brown color. I think it looks nice to me. Hahahahaha grey hairs showing up lol.
While having my dye, Car asked me if i will comment on the post address to me. I told her nope! Let sleeping dog lies.
She was furious and told me if there's someone who will apologize it should be her. And she started recalling back the past and some of it were heard by Still again. Still said let go!
When she left i felt some kind of feeling that i really owe an apology.
I am apologizing to the following:
Maricar: Sorry baby for being so hospitable to Tabitha. Letting her wear you clothes 5 days a week , your towels, preparing her beddings, washing all what she had used when she was with us.Preparing her food and treated her as a member of the family.Even if she had not shared a single cent with us for 3 months.
Eric: Sorry son for the time she will wake you up even if it was already late at night and you will fix the laptop. Laptop she used for 12 hours or so a day and it's on dial up. Family can not use the phone line.And also for always bringing her to the terminal to get her ride. ALso for making coffee for her a t night when she was chatting.
Nikko: sorry for her bugging you and making you stay till morning for her to have company using the computer and making her midnight snack.
Grandkids: Sorry you have met someone you treated like a grandma and bribed you with promises. I felt it was so cruel to promise to you things in the expense of Kinfalls.
Meek: Sorry i did not know it was your shirt that she wore in the picture when we met another chat friend. Sorry i did not pay attention to it coz i really did not know it was yours. Not until you saw it in the picture. That shirt was not returned though.
Laptop: Sorry kiddo for letting you to be used by someone who gave no respect to the owner. Putting the picture of Kinfalls and deleting Stillwatertoo's. Saving IM chats in your folder. Saving emails from males and saving picutres of males.
Dressing Table: Sorry buddy for allowing her use my make up, perfume and other things that you have there.
My Room: Sorry for allowing her to sleep comfortably with aircon,and clean beddings. Sorry for encouraging lots of ants to come in coz she eats in bed.
Working Table: i knew you felt bad because it was never kept neat while she was there. Ashes all over you. And you allow some things to get lost though. Now, we can not make an inventory coz it's too late to do that. But where is Arianne's necklace and the lighter i am suppose to give Still. Can you find it for me?
Bathroom: Sorry for the overused of the toiletries by her. I feel sorry for she doesn't bring her own toiletries.Oh i remembered she brought 4 sachets of hair conditioner for herself.
Dining Room:Sorry for setting up meals for her. Making her not starve though i was in a critical condition regarding work.But she brought some though to you.Twice she brought a canned of tuna,cakes, pastries.
Phone: Sorry kid you were overused and when you were set free, my associates and friends got the chance to get in touch with me and almost cussed because they can not get me thru you. Remember she used you from 8 a.m-3 p.m and 7 p.m - 4-6 a.m. Now you are free to accept all incoming calls.
Electricity: You are now going down as metered after she left lol you can not get me to pay $200.00 for 3 consecutive months lol now you are down to $70.00. Sorry
My Neigbors: Who did not like her at the first sight and kept telling me she is only coming to your house to abuse you and to make use of your puter. I could have listened to them.Sorry for the noises we have made.
Kinfalls: I am sorry , i have no intention to harm you.I just wanted you to recall how i dealt with you. this is not between us. Recall how i advised you how to come to the Philippines.I replied to you with an honest answer" If she is with me i am sure ther's none,but outside my house i do not know. When i told you look into my eyes and i am here infront of you and all i told you in IM i can say it again in person. Witnessed by 7 other people. I found it very unusual if you have not thought that the people who came were saying the same thing and was trying her to understand it.I even cautioned you not to pay the condo in advance.I never asked a single thing from you. I was just trying to make things well organized and you be comfortable staying here. Because i was asked by her to tell you what to do. Now, this thing happened. If you were in Still's shoes what will you feel that your woman was being used to beg money from other male? Ask yourself. ANd what will i feel when i learned about it? She did that long time ago but was discovered in October. If she really meant nothing there except to be concerned about me, she could have told me. She was staying in my house when she did that. I abhor such doing because it is a strict rule to my Friendss not to ask money from males in chat.
I preserve my values, principles and integrity as a person. That's how my friends love me. I am a very protective person and i will protect my friends till the end. But not her. I remained silent with a lot of things ever since.I thought of justlaughing at it. Sorry i have to do this to let everybody be informed why me and my friends are so upset, mad and so hurt.

Losing And Gaining Friends

Clinic Is Open!
Hmmm it seems everyone is in good mood. No one is buzzing me yet.
While waiting for friends to drop by my IM, i suddenly thought of a previous consultation by an old friend.
Friend: Why do i always lose friends? I am a loving friend. I love my friends.Why were the 2 men in my life left me? I was a good partner.
Syca: Hmmmm that is strange. Have you asked yourself why?
Friend: Why do you have lots of friends? Why is your man so honest and so true to you? Why do you have lots of gifts from your friends? What do you do? Why are your friends wanting to meet you always? I wanted to meet a man like yours.
Syca Laughing...I am me! What do you want me to answer first?
Friend am feeling bad cause i always think of the betrayal done to me by my best friend. She married my live in partner.My husband threw my things out of our house.
Syca: Go to the mirror and ask yourself. Do i really deserve to lose everyone?Do i deserve to be treated this way?
Friend: My former friends are no longer inviting me. What have i done wrong?
Syca: You are the only one who knew that.
Friend an i be your friend?
Syca: Of course you can. I am open to friendship.
I can't forget such conversation with her. It kept coming back to my mind. Why do we lose friends? Why do we lose a lover? Why were we treated wrongly?
Friendship for me is very important. I have a lot of friends and still wanting to make more.Still and me were friends for months before we ended up as lovers. That was one of the beautiful things i will always cherish.
Friendship is a give and take situation.If you wanted others to give it to you, you should be the first one to give it. I beleived in that. Be the first one to show your friendship. Not the other way around. Let them know who you are.Be truthful to what you say and do. When you meet friends in person, in few days time you will know their character.Hahahahaha one thing in me,i overdone my friendship all the time i think hahahahahaha.
This was what i told my friend. And if she would like to gain friends and have a good lover follow or listen to what i do.
1)Never lie about who you are? Lol if you are 4'11 don't say you are 5'3.Never ever dare say you have a high position in a company when you are just an employee. It will come out lol when truth will be known.
2) Don't look at friends who got money Lol. It's not yours .You can not get it from them.
3)Change the way you talk. Use simple words. Your friends might think you are speaking in tongues lol!
4) Dress properly when you meet them in person.Lol they might think you are working in a bar with your outfit.
5)Don’t fantasize. Cyber is full of fantasy. Words you have not heard before will be typed to you and you might get overwhelmed.
6)Never think you can get rich in cyber.
7)Never use men to make a living. Hahahahaha don’t expect them to pay your rent lol
Oh! Still is calling me.Time to fix supper.

Lovely Day

I woke up with Still telling me the Blogs have not changed since we went to bed. I replied to him and said "oh okay".
I got up and asked him if he had tested his sugar while walking to the kitchen to turn on the coffee maker. Hmmm, we always got up between 5:00-5:30 in the morning.
While coffee is being made, i can feel some kind of joy in my heart. It suddenyl came to me, i am fixing something for a person with no complains.I was looking at him, smiling, while he was doing his post for the blogs.
I got his coffee, made mine after. Hahahaha he drinks strong coffee and mine is decaf hahaha and we only have one coffee maker lol.
I was staring at him, as he types and i can see glow in his face. I noticed, when he types for the Blogs he is having a lot of fun and put his heart in what he posts.
It was a nice sight for me. I saw him looking at the window, viewing the beautiful Manila Bay.Still quiet,calm,water is peaceful,as if ships were having a rest in the beautiful bay.
I just stared at him and when he was done, i saw a big grin in his face,as if saying "I've done it!"
Then he said, Honey, i wrote something i really like so much. And i read his post.
The day will be a lovely day,i can feel it. Something good is to come.
I am always been optimistic to all things. It is a lovely and blessed day for all of us..Smile

Break up to make up..That's all we do..First you love me..Then you hate me..That's a game for fools
Hahahahahaa i remembered that song when i thought of a friend who broke up with her boyfriend and today she told me they are on again. I was smiling thinking that they are acting like youngsters hahahaaha.
Love is lovelier the second time around.La la la
She told me they talked and will try to make up with each other.I told her that's good!
Oh boy! she yelled when i said that hahahaha..i was surprised why she acted that way. When i asked her, she told me at least someone understood her. hahahahaha
Who will not give a second chance to make up for lost time? If both are in love, no one can stop it.I rather understand my friend than lose her.
I told her, she is the only one who knew the real score between them. No one should be judgemental.
I won't say anymore my friend is out of her mind and stubborn. I will just let her see what will come out with their relationship.
Again, i reminded her long distance relationship is hard and it takes a lot of effort in understanding the situation.
There should be no jealousy on each other . If one started it, the other will do the same. Trust, respect and importance should be felt by each other.
"Do unto others , what you would like others to do unto you" That was what i told her to put in her heart.
By the way, it was n't clinic hours when we had this chat. Hahahahahaha
