I am of Italian decent. I love to cook Italian and have traveled to the Tuscan region of Italy.I have relations there. I also enjoy day trips exploring the local area and occasionally longer trips with my miniature Poodle. Since my wifes passing, I find it not much fun in doing it alone. I have had a true and loving soul mate at my side for 28 years. I have experienced and now understand the meaning of the term "Silence can be, deafening."
I am a romantic, and enjoy closeness. Its in the italian genes. I feel very confident that with the right companion, and the proper chemistry, we can find ourselves enjoying our times together. Time in my age group is a precious commodity. I am very comfortable with my decisions and judgment. I know I will make a terrific friend/companion to a communicative and interesting responsive lady. I love day trips in the country, or coast, or a fun day on the water, maybe fishing in my boat An occasional quiet dinner, with some simple conversation. My Ideal Person:
I miss very much the presence of another person to chat with to and do things with. I would enjoy meeting a friendly person, widowed or divorced. Some one able to converse openly and is looking to form a new friendship with a person in somewhat the same circumstances as me. Hopefully, no hang-ups from the past, uninhibited, and able to talk openly. Age is not entirely important. I feel and act about 55. I would like someone who feels the same. I would rather talk about fun things rather than aches, pains, and sickness as the main topic. Not that I am against it when necessary, but I have had a lives worth in the loss of my sweet wife, to cancer, over 3 years ago.I think one is as old as they feel and their every day conversation gives a hint. I would like get to know each other, maybe over a cup of coffee, or a planned outing for a few hours. If you are out there and ready for fun?....maybe???
My ideal relationship:
Touchy, and holding hands while walking with an uninhibited lady. A gal who would miss a hair or nail appointment to do something interesting on the spur of the moment whether it be just a day exploration or a 1000 mile jaunt. Hopefully, at a suggestion from either of us, she would be able to jump in the shower, blow dry her hair, Put on something comfortable, maybe jeans or whatever and in 30 minutes say to me "Im ready baby Lets go". Spontaneity is fun and exciting and the spice of life!! I would prefer she have strong family ties, but not have every moment controlled by them.
