I'd just like to meet someone to e-mail or maybe share dinner with and get to know very slowly. I am retired, in my 50's, and have been inactive for a while. I now feel ready to get out and about and see what's out there. I'm not the most athletic person in the world (in fact, far from it) but I do enjoy people, and being around people and going on picnics, etc., are fun things to me.

My Ideal Person
What I am looking for in a person is probably pretty much what every one else says: a good sense of humor. But it is true. But above all for me, it is honesty. I think you can never have any level of a friendship/relationship without total honesty. If you meet someone and you don't click, the chemistry just isn't there, even just as friends, be honest to let that person know. That's what I'm looking for.
