My friends would tell you I look at life in a unique way, that I am a strong person with a great sense of empathy and an off-beat sense of humor. I have lived in several different areas, including the UK. My career has been varied and incredibly interesting, but my true passion is writing. One of my favorite jobs was working as a cowgirl on a 5,000 acre cattle ranch - it is this variety of experiences that I draw on when I write.
I have grown children not living at home, but who are an important part of my life and if I had known how much fun grandchildren were going to be, I would have had them first!
Old black and white movies are my favorite, but I love any film that is thought provoking, entertaining and/or visually rich.
A fairly active person, I love to bicycle, swim, hike and dance. I also like camping, sailing and most outdoor activities, but am just as happy exploring an art gallery, a museum, or wandering around window shopping.
My Ideal Person:
I am interested in meeting new people, with an ultimate goal of developing a long-term relationship. Strength of character, integrity, adventurousness, kindness and old fashioned values are qualities I appreciate. Honesty in communication is an essential ingredient in any relationship and conversation is one of the things I enjoy sharing with those I am close to. A man who is happy with himself, someone who continues to expand his knowledge of the world, is more attractive to me than simply good looks. I always have a tendency to see the inner person rather than the outer one. A fairly active person is appealing, but not someone who is always on the go, I would prefer someone who also has an appreciation for quiet intimate times spent in private.
