Recently a contact asked me 'what are you looking for and what are you going to do with it when you find it?'
On the surface it seems like a simple question. However, going deeper, its quite complex when you put it into the context of in your real space not cyberspace and inviting someone to share that space and you theirs.
On the way to the hospital day before yesterday (Sept 2007) to meet a friend whose partner of 22 years lay dying as I drove, it came to me that what I was looking for, was just what I am...a life and death friend; a good times and bad friend, a your soul is safe with me friend.
I am in no particular order a writer, educator, friend, mother, grandmother and Red Cross Shelter Manager. I am exploring the possibility of finding a friend that will develop into a life partner. I am laid back, easy going, affectionate, hard working, intelligent, articulate, spiritual, healthy and loyal. I am physically considered to be attractive with proportionately a few extra pounds. I like to be around water, can bait my own hook and dislike noise.
My Ideal Person:
Do you have a life that you love but would enjoy a companion to share the rest of the journey in peace, celebrating the small things, laughing and walking calmly into the future? Have you found your purpose, slain your lions, praised your Creator, sat at the edge of the ocean and pondered your insignificance and kissed the sand in humility at the gift of your life?
