I am a hard-working and independent woman. Nothing needy about this girl, I have a great job (administrative specialist) and a fantastic place to live. My mates tend to think I am a very positive person who can tough out some pretty rugged life situations and still come back smiling. I was a terrific wife up until the time my husband died about 3 yrs. ago, so I was a big success at marriage. I carry no baggage or regrets. Hopefully, some nice and intelligent gentleman will find that to be of value.
I have some really great friends and family, they are my greatest asset. I have done some traveling abroad. As a children's rights activist, I helped to run and sponsor a summer camp for Romanian orphans for three summers. Last summer, I traveled to Tanzania, Africa where I assisted AIDS impacted widows and orphans in finding ways to sustain themselves. I recently became an independent filmmaker and I am working on my second documentary about my adventures in Africa.
Politically, I am a liberal. I love rock and roll, hip-hop, jazz, classical, well I love all types of music! :applause:
