I like a simple lifestyle. Just being friends first is important to me, then seeing if we both want to pursue a more monogamous serious relationship is a good approach for me. Having said that, I can tell you a little about myself. I am a true friend to help in time of need. I impart shyness to some degree. I open up nicely with what I am about over time. I've been divorced for 7 years. I live in my house with my dog. I have 2 grown sons who live out on their own. I have 2 grandchildren and another expected any day. I love listening to music, all kinds of music. However, I do have my limits. I do not like or opera. My favorite is Blues. I enjoy going to the Waterfront Blues Festival in Portland every year. I watch the weather report , the national news, and college basketball on TV. I get movies from Netflix for entertainment. I work for a school district at the elementary level. I enjoy my work though every day is a new challenge with the kids I serve. I'm really lookin' for true love and do not want to be mis-used, mis-led or made to go crazy. I do like men who can go for a long distance bike ride or hiking without wheezing, drink coffee without slurping, and not get demanding or bossy and will understand me if I have an issue or two without making rash judgements on my good nature. I have a bike, I spend a great deal of time on her in the summer months. I am passionate about nature. I prefer to be outside doing something a walk, a hike, camping. I'm a hard working , responsible gal wanting to share my life with a gentle man.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for a man who is honest and respectful. A man who enjoys doing things together yet feels comfortable to do things on his own. I need a man who is physically active, long walks, hikes, bikes, not afraid to go out in the rain.
