I'm only a moderately active person - I read a lot or watch TV or mess around on the computer. My newest hobbies are a little more active though - one is geocaching - a treasure hunt of sorts using a GPSr and I have over 400 finds to my credit. And 2nd is my new inflatable kayak. I'm a leisurely paddler on flat water or down the easiest sections of the Kern River ending at Hart Park. I have traveled just a little - to tropical locations - and I hope to go snorkeling again sometime in the not-too-distant future. I go through spurts of being involved in various hobbies like knitting, pottery, etc. I like to read mysteries, courtroom dramas, etc - like Grisham, Nelson DeMille, Cornwell. One of my favorite authors is Janet Evanovich with her Stephanie Plum series that is laugh-out-loud funny. I have a married son and 3 sweet little grandsons who all live about 90 miles from me. I am newly separated and now it's a whole new world out there.
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for low-key, casual friendships - someone to go to dinner with, or to a musical or show, or geocaching - or maybe even boating on a nearby lake.
