I have lived in Palm Desert, CA., for the past 30 years and in the same condo for the past 20 years. I guess you might say I am stable in that respect except I have this rare disease called a "Travel Bug". I caught it in 1992 after my first cruise to the Mexican Rivera. Since then, I have been to all 50 States, all seven continents including a landing on Antarctica and have visited 47 foreign countries. My most recent trip was to India in Nov 2009.
I mainly travel by cruise ship so I don't have to pack and unpack often as on a land tour. I was in the apparel industry for many years and still enjoy dressing in coat and tie and especially wearing my tux on formal nights. Evenings on a ship are my favorite times with good conversaton, good food, wine, dancing and not having to worry about a designated driver. Also I cruise for destination and not to lounge in a deck chair.
My Ideal Person:
I recently completed radiation and chemotherapy for a cancerous tumor in my throat. That makes two bouts with cancer! At this point in my life, I have decided to skip romance and spend my money on travel as I have a feeling down deep that the next cancer will get me. Consequently, I am only interested in meeting a lady that is financially secure for extended cruise travel on a shared basis. I am planning several cruises in the 30 day range and would like to share expenses on a mini suite rather then being in a smaller cabin as a single. Each cruise will be in the $5,000 to $9,000 (p.p.d.o.) price range and on Princess Cruise ships, formal wear required.
