I like the simple elegant things of life.
I love music without it the world would be so silent.
I like people who have respect for mankind and have compassion. I have a BA in Sociology, and have worked with dysfuntional families and I have worked for the state, retired and returned. I don't like to be around cigarettes, and I don't want to be with a person who is a social drinker. I enjoy traveling to see the country and different historical monuments. I like to draw,shop even if I don't purchase anything, I like animals ex: dogs, and cats. I love my 4 living children and 8 grandchildren,also the 4 great grandchildren. All my children live away from where I am. I have one daughter that lives 45 miles from me she is a licensed therapist, a daughter who lives in South
Dakota who works at a medical center as a receptionist,one daughter in Oklahoma who is a dental assistant, and a son who retired from the Airforce and is a court reporter for the Airforce.
I have one small dog that my granddaughter purchased for me.
I still work for the state, I drive 90 miles round trip 5 days a week.
My favorite time of the year is fall, seems things clam down and the earth appears to be more peaceful.
All this is ackward for me to try to explain who I am and what I like and dislike, I am a widow after 44 years of marriage. I have not dated for 10 1/2 years, but now I would like to meet someone who enjoys life that is calm and peaceful. Maybe he would enjoy watching a movie, snuggle up with a cup of hot choc. and a bowl of popcorn; also I enjoy dining out, sunsets, the smell of rain, I am an optimistic person.
My Ideal Person:
I am interested in finding an intelligent, loving, kind, faithful Christian man. A person who will listen and will give hugs when needed. Who is well mannered and doesn't smoke or drinks.
It is also important that he is a faithful honest man who would love and care for me.
