I'm told I look great 'for my age'...at least my kid and her friends tell me so!!
The desert has been my home for the last twenty some years and I really enjoy living here. I like the warmth, but not the heat, so I like to leave for a couple of months in the height of the summer, but the desert has given me peace and calm after a life of rushing around.. I guess we all do that when we are younger!! I travelled extensively throughout my adult life as I was in the airline business for more years than I care to remember!! But there is still a lot of the world that I want to see and lots more adventures to be had.
Most of the people I hang out with are much younger than I am, and that's the way I like it...much more stimulating and interesting...They accept me as one of their own, so I guess what my kid says is right, I don't look...or act...my age!!
One of the things I used to love to do, was to go Rv-ing..I loved that when I was younger, but haven't had the opportunity for many years. I think it's a great way to see the country and a fun thing to do.
Golf was a passion in my youth and I played a lot up until my daughter came along, then as she should, she consumed all of my time, but I have made vague attemps again in the last years and I had a wonderful experience on a recent trip to Alaska, we got to play golf in the Yukon Terratories, can you imagine that? It was amazing and one of the really fun things I have done in recent memory!!One thing about golf, you can pick up where you left off!!
I don't like...arguing, really loud music,watching ball games endlessly on weekends or much noise in general. I lived under the 2-4 runway at LAX for way to many years...Quiet is a good thing!!
I'm pretty easy going, and looking for that right guy to have some fun with....I don't rule out the possibility of a serious relationship.
My Ideal Person:
I would like someone with an easy going attitude and an interesting personality, tall, anything over 5' 10" is tall to me!! Someone who also looks good for his age!!!! Love a good head of hair or at least an adequate one!!!!
I don't have the energy I had when younger, but I still would enjoy a game of golf, so would like a guy that enjoys that to, but not obsessively!
Someone that is OK staying home and doesn't pace the floor wanting to be out doing something all the time..I guess I don't want an 'A' personality type, prefer calmer and easy to be around...
I can't handle narrowmindedness... or anyone too far 'right'!!I'm more left...I find it leads to too many arguments and everyone gets upset, so lets be on the same wavelength!! I guess that's about it...Dining out is fun and a good glass of wine is OK too....Hey...do you like to RV? I mean..they can be rented!!!
