I have been single for three+ years. Have done some dating and have a great group of friends. I am not dating anyone at present. My friends would discribe me as loving, loyal, a good sense of humor and busy. I have an active social life with friends and family. Three children, ten grandchildren all within two hours of where I live. My relationship with family and friends is very important to me. I enjoy dining out with friends, but also like to cook and have dinner for friends at my home. I love going to movies, theater, concerts, etc. But also enjoy a night in, DVD playing and the company of a good friend. Up untill last spring I had a boat, slipped on the Mississippi and spent most weekends on it. I enjoy being on the water, locally or traveling anywhere that includes a beach! Have done several cruises and enjoyed them, but prefer an ocean resort. I am not looking for marriage, but am not opposed to marring again in the future. To start I would like to find someone with similar likes, to start as friends and see where it leads.
My Ideal Person:
I would like to meet someone who is active and enjoys going places, that can be anything from going for a walk on a beautiful day, going to a movie or concert, dinner or getting together with friends for a night of socializing...or sometimes it's just nice to have a quite night at home. I love to travel and it's always more enjoyable with another person. I like things planned, however I'm not opposed to spur of the moment, some of my best trips were when there was not set destination, just get in the car and go...I am self sufficient and am not looking for someone to take care of me, but just start as friends and see where it goes.
