Eclectic, educated, attractive, honest, loyal, and love to laugh. I am retired and enjoy a quiet, simple life. I like most kinds of music, from Beethoven to Willie. I listen to NPR on the car radio unless I have a Leonard Cohen cd in the player. I like to read and go to flea markets and garage sales. I have a few favorite TV shows, and I like to try new restaurants. I have a slightly sarcastic sense of humor. I enjoy just sitting on the porch in the summer and reading a book as much as being out and about. I am not a sports fan.
Open communication is important to me, and if I care about you, you will definitely know it.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for a stable, intelligent, kind, funny, easy-going, emotionally available, respectful man over 60, preferably retired but not required. I like to do things together, so please be generous with your time, whether we are exploring the countryside on a Sunday afternoon or just hanging out at home and cooking together. (I probably will not cook for you, but I will cook with you.) I read recipes the same way I read science fiction. I get to the end and I think, "Well, that's not going to happen." Better yet, if you love to cook . . . ? I would like to meet a man who is able to speak and write a grammatically correct sentence. I am open to relocating to nearly any part of the country. MUST have a genuine love for dogs. Most everything else is negotiable.
