I am a bit of geek / nerd. Which term you prefer seems to depend on which coast you grew up on. (There I go again) I am very into transhumanism. In particular envisioning the kind of future we wish to arrive at and what can be done to best ensure we get there. Much of my time is spent on the computer and in books researching some interest, collating information, or dreaming up and hacking on some bit of technology. But I am also very sensuous and loving and need more in my life than just intellectual things. I am not getting any younger. I would love to find a compatible loving partner to enjoy life with.
My Ideal Person:
Someone, male or female, who is comfortable with themselves. That doesn't mean they have "settled" or have no ambition or passion. Both are important and very sexy. Sexuality wise I am a 4 or higher on the Kinsey scale. So women get my attention the easiest. I am bisexual and am attracted to men as well. A very important characteristic is being reasonably smart. I am pretty brainy and usually don't get along so well with people who do not enjoy that. If you are fundamentally asexual then that won't work so well for me.  I am pretty sensuous. While I don't need sex everyday I definitely am demonstrative and the juices still flow. Somehow I still have a bit of a rep with my friends as a "horn dog" although I haven't been very active in years. Mainly I am looking for someone sensual, smart, fundamentally optimistic and who will challenge me to grow and I them.
