After 3 marriages, all ending in divorce, I can say with out
a doubt that I know what I look for in a man.
I am open and honest (honest to a fault sometimes). I enjoy
life and try to live by my design for my life:
I have 3 cats and 1 dog and will NOT give them up for any relationship.
I have almost 24yrs clean and sober. I can tolerate social drinking so long as it does not include drunkenness. Been there, done that, NOT doing it again.
I smoke off and on, depending on my stress level. And
if I am with someone who doesn't smoke, neither will I.
I believe fully in what goes around, comes around. I try to be nice to everyone. Keyword here is 'try'. I have a t-shirt
that says it all "If you want perfection, go buy a doll."
I have been told I have the 'Touch of St.Francis'. It seems that I have designated one of those that troubled creatures
come to see for help. (THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE HUMANS!) I help "All creatures great and small....". And so, of course,
I am friends with the people at the county SPCA and with those who work with the Humane Dept. for our city.
I am a volunteer at a local thrift store owned by a local hospice. It is hard work, funny at times, irritating, but very rewarding. I, also, deliver blankets from the store to the
SPCA (and newspapers, too).
There is a lot more share about me. This is only a part of
who I am. I love children (I wasn't able to have children of
my own). I love to cook... And most of all I would love to hear from you......freedspirit.
My Ideal Person:
A man who handles stress without yelling, without
berating someone else. Someone who can face life on
life's terms. I want get to know someone first before jumping into bed with him. I want someone to know who I
am and can accept the reality that I am not changing for anyone(!). And someone who loves my cats and my dog
and understands they are MY children, MY family.
