I spend considerable time assisting disabled veterans and their families here in Virginia. When I retired from the military I joined the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) organization and found that I thoroughly enjoy helping veterans and their families improve their quality of life. I have lived in Virginia since 1979 and really love this state, although I could well do without the challenges that come with the heavy traffic congestion here in the vicinity of the Washington DC Beltway. I’m am somewhat old fashion I that I do take great pleasure in opening doors, pulling out chairs, and standing until the lady is seated. Being raised that way, it comes rather naturally. As for my family, my daughter and two granddaughters live in Alabama and I try to visit them at least 4 times a year. Family is very important to me.
I have a good sense of humor and enjoy new adventures, to include travel. My travels have included Virginia, cross-country in the USA and occasionally to overseas locations. I would like to share my experiences with an attractive, warm, loving (in heart, soul and spirit), intelligent lady who would appreciate my sincerity and caring nature. Being a positive thinker, I have been characterized as a very giving person who likes to please others and see them smile.
My Ideal Person:
The lady I am looking for as a companion should be willing to share quality time with me, and someone who just might be the last love of my life. Honesty, sincerity, kind heartedness, very friendly disposition and willingness to demonstrate her caring attitude in public would be a bonus. I am not interested in raising another family at this point in my life but rather to enjoy myself with a lovely, attractive, outgoing, caring and honest lady.
