I would best describe my lifestyle as quiet. No drama or melodrama. I am easily able to live by myself and with myself, but sharing things in life with someone is always nice. I like going places, doing things, travelling, getting out and about, but not constantly. I definitely enjoy just being home, too.
I enjoy walks at any time of day and a bit of exercising, but nothing too drastic. I just think it's a healthy thing to do. I don't play any sports and I'm not a total sports fan, but I do watch some sports occasionally on tv. I enjoy going to my 10 year old grandson's games and every so often, I get to a CMU football or basketball game.
I like most types of movies, the theater, sit-coms, dramas and some of the news programs on tv. I like checking out new restaurants. I like dancing. I like to laugh. I like to read. I like spending time with my grandsons and with friends.
I enjoyed my career as a high school teacher. Working with teenagers is always interesting. At one time, I was involved in small town politics, but that was awhile ago.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for a man who is considerate and caring, slow to anger and quick to laugh. Someone who feels secure in himself without being self-centered. Someone who can show empathy, who is affectionate. Of course, we would need to have some common interests. And, I am looking for a man who has some college background, and who is height and weight proportionate.
