I enjoy volunteering, both in the healthcare area and in my community.
I'm happiest when I am among nature--sunny or rainy, warm or crisp (although I prefer warm), the world is full of wonder and possibilities. I enjoy long walks, bicycling and camping. One of my favorite activities is searching for bargains at auctions--it's a wonderful way to enjoy a summer day. I would love to find someone interested in taking dance lessons, but this isn't a must.
My idea of a perfect date is a picnic in the park; or a home cooked candlelight dinner; or a stroll through a small town, stopping to browse through a bookstore or to have an ice cream cone; or enjoying a glass of wine by a roaring fire on a chilly evening.
I am very secure on my own and don't need a man in my life, BUT everything in life is sweeter when you are sharing it with someone special. Some of my loneliest times are when I find myself alone in a crowd of couples. I'm outgoing, compassionate, and fun loving. Although I have no children of my own, I love children and enjoy spoiling my nieces and nephews. I am as comfortable in jeans as I am dressed for a formal affair (although I prefer jeans).
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for a relationship that is based on friendship first--hoping it will lead to romance. I would like to find someone who shares some of my interests, but can also introduce me to new experiences. Character, integrity and sense of humor are important to me. I have faith that such a man exists...is it you?
