I am a fun-loving, free spirited, down to earth woman who is looking for a best friend and partner to share friendship, love and the feeling of being on "Cloud 9". I enjoy music of all types, but expecially big band and blues and have a passion for dancing ~~ jitterbug or swing anyone? I am in awe of spectacular sunrises, sunsets, waterfalls, the desert in bloom and the view from the top of a mountain. The experience of adventure, travel and exploring natural wonders is awesome and sharing is the ultimate. Like being around or on the water and particularly enjoy sailing and kayaking, picnicking, relaxing, walking, swimming or lying on the beach. Spend a lot of time in Acadia National Park. Like to keep in shape by working out at the local Senior Center gym and also take oil painting lessons at the Center and pottery next. I enjoy intown adventures to museums, art galleries, concerts and the theater. Like to garden, eat healthy and cook, but it is more fun cooking together with a special partner. I have interest in business and the stock market. Altough I enjoy dressing up for a special evening out, I mostly delight in simple comforts. I would like to share the winter months where it is warmer preferably in California (lived in San Diego in early 90's and loved it - are you there?, Arizona or Florida; my home in the summer, yours in the winter. Might even consider relocating to a warmer climate with the right partner.
My Ideal Person:
A special man in my life would be one whose values are high, his word is dependable and he respects the right of others to be themselves. He is spontaneous and adventuresome, and likes playful teasing and expects the same from me. Should he be blessed financially, his community and acquaintances will not openly know it as he leads a humble life. Jealousy, game playing and drama roller coasters are not his idea of a thrill ride. He is interested in finding what's around the next corner, particularly those places off the beaten path.
