I am a dark haired cuddly brunette going silver like a badger, with clear gray eyes and a fine skin. That hasnt changed much except Im now rather more gray than brunette. Ill listen to every one talk about anything - except cars - been there done that. I love enthusiasms in other people and I enjoy feeling that I have helped someone.

Interests:
Religious inclinations - yes - and I like debate on the subject so look out - which does not mean that I insist on a conversation where everyone else has to agree with me.
Art - Computer Graphical manipulation using Photoshop. I spend hours on my computer playing.
Music:
I love Music - sometimes and am a catholic listener - however I rarely listen and dont have a great memory for names dates and styles. I do like Bagpipes. I suffer from tinnitus which is aggravated when I have been listening to canned music too long.(or Ive worn myself out using the keyboard) If I can ever get a copy of Sound Edit 16 to run on my computer I will enjoy making my own sound bites again.
Reading:
I read widely (I think) though a huge proportion of the content works out to be fantasy SIFI stuff - - - Im fascinated by alternative news but that comes off the net and from other people I know on line. My nearest Library is about 30 mins away so Im glad to be able to borrow 15 - 16 books for 6 weeks at a time.
Movies/TV:
I watch; when I can stand the reception in this part of Tasmania ; such things as "Midsommer Murders" which is shot in the part of the world I where I spent many happy years. "Catalyst" and other popular Scientific programs, Historical stuff like "The History of English" and I will even watch "Top Gear" occasionaly
Food/dining:
You will have to take me out to find out - or then I might entertain you. My home is half renovated but makes a lovely casual setting for BBQs and meals on a broad veranda or round a fire.
Sports/fitness:
Not not not - I had a knee replacement a year ago and am a lot more mobile than I was - even more than others who have also had the operation. I have a 1 acre garden which I potter in when Im not nose down in computer graphics. and a handful of pretty chooks. If I get the opportunity I enjoy watching ice-skating or Ballet or Olympic skying.
My Ideal Person:
Is there someone I can chat to by email that has a robust non-cynical bright eyed view of life with an irish sense of humor. Someone who isn't afraid of change and a challenge. Who wont be scared off by weird ideas.
I dont know - tall dark and hansom(?) - its a bit late for that  Male and an eclectic conversationalist well maybe - but then I quite enjoy womens company now that most of them have grown a long way past the catty stage. A sense of humor I can share would be wonderful. Also an enthusiasm for their own stuff - something I might get sucked into - but then I did say Id be happy to talk about anything just about.
