I'm a passionate, warm, fun-loving, confident, independent, loyal, honest woman who believes in living life to its fullest and the possibility of a sustainable partnership. Although I am a southern girl, born and raised deep in the heart of Texas, I came to the San Diego area in my early twenties because I knew in my heart I was a California girl from the time I was old enough to say “California.” Even though I have traveled extensively and even lived in other areas over the past 18 years, I consider San Diego my true home. I lived in the Bay Area for 10 years and enjoyed all it has to offer in terms of diversity and culture, but I just never really felt at home. So I recently sold my businesses and returned "home." I have spent the last 18 months getting settled in a new home and business and reconnecting with old friends. Wow, it just feels so great to be home!! The only thing missing now is my life partner, so here I am, after much prodding from friends, telling you how great I am and what a great catch I will be.
I have broad interests and always welcome new experiences. As San Diego offers the opportunity to enjoy many activities, I enjoy the arts a great deal. My favorite is music and I have a particular fondness for classic rock and R & B. I also enjoy museums, galleries and theater. I love the beach, especially at sunset (don't we all?), good food, wine, conversation and laughter. I'm at my happiest when entertaining my friends and family. I find nature invigorating and replenishing. I find joy in almost everything natural.
I love children and although I have chosen not to have any of my own, I am the legal guardian of two wonderful teenagers. I know I do not want children of my own but I am open to a relationship with a man who has children, provided he is an active parent and has a healthy working relationship with the mother of his children.
I am interested in someone who knows themselves and believes in the possibilities of a healthy, long-lasting romantic relationship based upon friendship, attraction, shared values and mutual respect. I am interested in a relationship that celebrates who we are and who we hope to be, individually and together. I am looking for a partner who values balance in a relationship and is interested in working to have the balance it takes to maintain a healthy relationship over time. My ideal partner is someone who can be serious and playful, reserved and adventurous; someone who has a range of experience and is just as comfortable at a black tie affair as in bed with the Sunday paper and a cup of coffee; someone who feels comfortable in the world and relishes time at home; and someone who is interested in living a full life, working as a team to accomplish a loving, healthy relationship as well as to meet our financial goals. I am most attracted to men who are not afraid to do what ever it takes to get it done, men with confidence and compassion, gentle yet strong.
